When You Don’t Know

“Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for GOD’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.” Proverbs 3:5–6, MSG)

We all experience difficult situations where it seems like it will never change or work out. We do our best to find a solution and resolve it but nothing changes. Our inability to solve our problems often stresses us out and affects the way feel about ourselves.  However, it is through our problems and life situations that God is doing his best work in us.  He uses such situations to develop our faith muscle and our dependence on Him.  God wants us to learn how to turn to Him at all times, to put all of our hope in Him, and to have faith in His power, grace, and mercy, knowing that everything that we experience is according to His plan and purpose for our lives! So instead of stressing yourself out and worrying about your problems or situations and figuring it out on your own “trust God, and lean not on your own understanding”, “let go and let God”, do your best to stay in faith, take the steps to control what you can control and leave it to God, to prepare, equip, strengthen, and guide you to a resolution.

Father, thank You that You are my God and that You will keep my life on track. Thank You that I can be free from trying to figure everything out on my own. I declare that I am in the palms of Your hands, and I am going to trust You from the bottom of my heart and have faith that You will work everything out for my good because of my belief, faith, and trust in Your divine power! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
